The names of RTC's, Residential Treatment Centers and they are Junior Prisons. Children's rights are ignored, family contact is severed, and siblings are not allowed any contact.
When will the warehousing of foster children in the "group homes" end?
When kids live in 27 placements over a period of three years, how can anyone expect a better longterm outcome for them?
Texas PAL is a huge JOKE... a BAD joke! We have children who have supposedly been through PAL and are clueless how to open a checking account, how to obtain housing, how to obtain a GED, and all the other things that children need to know as they strike out on their own.
